Colt, a UK-based multinational telecommunications company, has a history of constructing extensive telecom networks across major European cities and the UK. With this new acquisition, Colt not only brings 2,700 new customers, including blue-chip corporations, leading enterprises and public sector clients under its wing, but also gains access to vital Points of Presence (PoPs) in diverse locations like Dubai, Estonia, Greece, Iceland, Israel, Kenya, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa and Turkey.
This expansion is a response to the growing demand for digital infrastructure in these regions. The acquisition bolsters Colt's position as a preferred wholesale partner in the EMEA region. The integration of network assets, built with varying methodologies and for different customer types, presents a challenge that Colt is poised to address.
With CEO Keri Gilder at the helm, Colt is set to fortify its global reach and service capabilities, heralding a new era of connectivity and digital transformation for its customers around the world.
